Top on our list of best family vacation destinations is, of course, Amsterdam. Amsterdam may not seem like the best place for a family to visit. However, when you look past the coffee shops and you get away from the Red Light District, Amsterdam is a lovely city with lots of green space and child friendly activities. Grab a bakfiets and explore this city as it's meant to be, by bicycle!
Whether you want to bike with the family through Vondelpark, or pet animals at a local Boerderij, there are plenty of outdoor activities for all ages. And what if the infamous Dutch rain strikes? What better time to head on over to Nemo Science Museum, explore the hidden horse stables at "De Hollandsche Manege", or kick back and do a pancake cruise on the Pancake Boat?
